Family Heirloom Bust
Portable detail scan of a fragile ceramic bust, reprinted at 1:1.
Challenge
A fragile ceramic bust — the only remaining likeness of a grandparent — needed a duplicate for a sibling without any touch to the original.
Approach
Portable structured-light detail scan at 0.05 mm feature size, mesh clean-up and hole-fill, then 1:1 print on our multi-material FDM printer in matte cream PLA.
Outcome
Photographic likeness at full scale, with the original returned unhandled beyond the scan. The family now has a printable master file for the future.
